The Solar Floodlight – Sentinel Cameras
3-Head Motion Light · 2000 Lumens

The dark spots are dark for a reason.

The side path, the back of the shed, the stretch between the carport and the door. They have no light because getting power out there means an electrician, a trench, and a quote that costs more than the light ever would.

This one needs sunlight and two screws. 2000 lumens across three heads you aim yourself, charging itself every day and arming itself every dusk, with nothing added to your power bill.

Why The Solar Floodlight

Light where there was never any power.

Sheds, gates, side paths, carports, the dark stretch between the house and the driveway. Anywhere running a cable would cost more than the light.

01

2000 Lumens, 74 LEDs

Bright enough to light a driveway end to end. This is a security light, not a garden marker.

02

Three Heads, Three Directions

Each head swivels independently. Point one at the gate, one at the path and one at the door, from a single mounting point.

03

Three Modes to Choose From

Motion on and off, motion dim-to-bright, or constantly on. Pick the one that suits the spot rather than settling for whatever the light does.

04

Charges Itself, Costs Nothing

The panel tops up the battery all day and the light switches itself on at dusk. Nothing to wire and nothing added to your power bill.

How It Works

It handles the whole night without you.

1

It Charges All Day

The epoxy solar panel feeds the 18650 lithium battery from first light. Overcast days still charge it, just more slowly.

2

It Switches On at Dusk

No timer to set and no switch to flick. The light knows when the light level drops and arms itself automatically.

3

It Reacts to Movement

Depending on the mode you choose, it either snaps on at full brightness or lifts from a dim standby to the full 2000 lumens the moment something moves.

The Honest Comparison

Against a mains-powered floodlight.

Same light on the ground. Very different path to getting it there.

Customer Reviews

What customers are saying.

“Lights Up the Whole Side Yard”

“I wasn’t expecting this much light from a solar unit. The three adjustable heads let me cover the gate, walkway, and side of the house at the same time. The motion sensor kicks in quickly, and I haven’t had to touch it since installing it.”

Michael R.

“Security Without the Electrician”

“I wanted more light around our garage but didn’t want to pay an electrician to run new wiring. I mounted this myself in minutes and it worked straight away. It’s bright, responsive, and makes the area feel much more secure at night.”

Sarah T.

“No Wires. No Power Bill. Just Works.”

“This is exactly what I wanted for the back of our property where there’s no power outlet nearby. It charges during the day and automatically lights up when someone approaches. Being able to aim each light separately is a huge plus. I’m ordering another for the shed.”

Works Together

Light and cameras work better together.

A camera in the dark records a shape. A camera with light on it records a face.

The Guardian

Solar and 4G camera that sees what the light reveals. No power or Wi-Fi needed at the location.

The Guardian Video Doorbell

Covers the front entry with two-way talk and free cloud storage.

Warning Sign

Light, camera, sign. The three-layer deterrent, and the sign is the cheapest of the three.

Questions & Answers

Straight answers.

Comfortably brighter than a standard household bulb and about the same as a decent car headlight. It will light a driveway end to end, or a full backyard from a single mounting point.

The panel still charges in overcast conditions, just more slowly. If you are worried about a long grey stretch, run it in the dim-to-bright mode, which draws far less power than staying on full.

No. There is no wiring at all. Choose a wall or post that gets good sun, drill two holes, and screw it on. The whole job is usually under ten minutes.

For a driveway or gate, motion on and off is best because the sudden light is what makes someone stop. For a path you walk regularly, dim-to-bright is friendlier. Constant on suits a carport or somewhere you want light all night.

The sensor is tuned for larger movement, but it is a motion sensor rather than a person detector. Aiming the heads slightly downward and away from the road cuts nuisance triggers considerably.

Around 2.5 metres up, with the solar panel facing north and tilted toward the sky. North gets the most sun through the Australian day. Check the spot at midday rather than the morning, since a shadow that is not there at breakfast may be there at noon.

Light up the dark corners.

No wiring, no power bill, no electrician. Just sunlight and a screwdriver.
